EASTMAN SELECTS TEAM SET FOR 2017-2018

 

The Eastman Selects have finalized their team for the 2017-2018 season. Congratulations to all the new players on becoming an Eastman Select and to veterans for pushing hard to keep their spots on the team. For the complete list of players, look under the roster tab.

 

The team will now be pushing hard to prepare for the Stoney Creek Tournament on September 8-10. As part of the preparation, the team has a number of dryland sessions, practices and exhibition games set. To stay up to date on the Selects schedule, click on the schedule tab.

 

 

 

EASTMAN TRYOUTS - PHASE I COMPLETE

 

With phase one of the tryout process complete, the Eastman Selects have moved on to the summer dryland and on-ice conditioning program. With 12 forwards, 8 defence and 3 goalies still in the hunt for a position on the 2017-2018 Eastman Selects team, the players are really working hard to be part of the selects team at the final selection skates on August 20th.

 

The players are working out both on and off ice as a team once a week over a six week period with workout programs set at home for all the players. The Selects have a few exhibition games set up at the end of August and early September in order to prepare for the Stoney Creek Showcase which runs from September 8-11th in Hamilton and Burlington, Ontario.  Stoney Creek is a 64 team event, and an excellent opportunity for the selects to showcase their talent in front of university and college coaches.

 

SELECTS PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THE RETURN OF COACH BRAM!

 

 

On March 23rd, 2017 the Eastman Minor Hockey Association appointed the Head Coaches for the Female Bantam and Midget AAA programs.  The Selects would like to congratulate Bill and Chris on their respective appointments.
