CARRIERE SELECTED AS WEEK 5 DEFENCE OF THE WEEK
10.29.2025

The Eastman Selects are proud to announce that third year defender Chloe Carriere ('26) has been selected as the MFHL Week 5 Defence of the Week.  Carriere collected back-to-back 1 goal, 1 assist efforts in two convincing wins over the Pembina Valley Hawks and the Interlake Lightning this past weekend.  She directed 5 shots on net in each game and bagged the game-winner in the 8-0 win over Interlake.

Carriere (St. Malo, MB) is in her third season with the Selects and is a 5-year member of the Selects AAA program.  Carriere, known for her heavy shot, has gotten off to a strong start this season and has taken a big leap in terms of her offensive play.  In 22 games played, Carriere has posted 6 goals and 14 helpers to go along with 81 shots on goal and a team-leading +32 rating.  In MFHL scoring, Carriere is currently tied with teammate Blake Haas and Claire Hudson (Winnipeg Ice) for first in D scoring and tied for 5th in overall league scoring.

RIGAUX NAMED WEEK 2 MFHL FORWARD OF THE WEEK
10.07.2025

The Eastman Selects are proud to announce that second year forward Delainey Rigaux ('26) has been selected as the MFHL Week 2 Forward of the Week.  Rigaux had a big weekend collecting 6 points in team wins over the Interlake Lightning and the Central Plains Capitals.  She started the weekend off with a 1G, 1A effort in a 6-0 win against Interlake, and followed it up with a 4-goal performance (and the GWG) in a 6-1 victory over Central Plains.  Rigaux has caught fire and scored in six straight games while bagging a point in 8 of her last 10 games.

Rigaux (Winnipeg, MB) is in her second season with the Selects after playing her Grade 10 season with the Interlake Lightning.  Rigaux is a dual threat and possesses good vision and has a knack for finding an open player; but she's always had the ability to score and has shown that she's especially dangerous when she gets the puck on her stick in a scoring area.  After a bit of a slow start Rigaux has now accumulated 11 goals to go along with 4 assists in 13 games.  In addition she's fired 60 shots on goal to go along with a +11 rating.
