Eastman Season Ends

Eastmans Season ends with a 4-2 loss to the Winnipeg Ice.  Game 3 was a very physical end to end game that was tied 2-2 after 2 periods.  Eastmans demise can be attributed to being in the penalty box for 12 more minutes than the Winnipeg Ice.  Minor penalties assessed to Eastman 12 Winnipeg Ice 6.  It is a History that repeats to win hockey games you have to stay out of the penalty box.
Eastman and Winnipeg Ice have had close hard fought games all year, it is only fitting that they finished off the year in the same fashion.  Good Luck in the rest of the playoffs Ice.

Game 2 vs ICE

Eastman played a more spirited game tonight in spite of being down two players due to injuries.  Eastman girls skated and played with the intensity it takes to win playoff games.  Ice Goalie turned away all of Eastmans attempts to berry the biscuit.  Ices loan goal was scored on a powerplay early in the game.  At the end of the battle 46 minutes of penalties had been assessed and served with 1 goal to decide the outcome.
Game 3 to be played Feb 28th at Notre Dame Arena.

Playoffs Game # 1

Eastman faced off tonight in Game #1 of the playoffs against the Winnipeg Ice.  These two teams have been closely matched all season.  Eastman was only able to put one past the Ice netminder, while the ice were able to capitalize on 4 occassions.
Game 2 is Friday February 24.

Eastman vs Westman

Eastman faced off against their West counterparts this morning, in what proved to be another typical game with alot of physical play and end to end rushes.  Westman was a very prepared determined team looking for a road win.  The shots were very even for the game with Eastman outshooting Westman 38 to 36, Westman ended the game with a 4-2 win over Eastman.

Eastman vs Avros

Eastman looses a tough game to their divisions Rivals Wpg Avros.  With end to end action the Avros constant movement of the puck proved to be too much to handle for Eastman tonight.  Eastman tied the Avros in shots at 30 but could not figure out how to put it past their goalie. Eastmans next action is against Westman at Home in Ste Annes on Sunday Morning.
